What does CM-% mean?

The often used unit [CM-%] is nothing other than the unit [M-%] measured with a carbide meter. The unit [M-%] is often used with kiln dried samples and indicates the weight loss in relation to the dry mass. Because the chemical reactions of readiness tests aren’t completed, but broken off, the results of these measurements with cement samples are different when using CM measurements or kiln drying tests. From previous experience a difference of  1-1.5 M-%  is expected. So these results could be differentiated more easily, the unit [CM-%] was introduced for measurements using a carbide meter.
